In 1991, due to the difficulties of providing services in a home environment, a vacant plot of land in the heart of the Muslim community of Campbellfield VIC was bought, with the aim of building a masjid and madrasah. A girls’ madrasah with a capacity of 20 was soon built on the purchased land, followed by a two-storey boys’ madrasah in Noble Park that also housed 20 students.
